Life in the Early Church
The book of Acts
(Quarter 3, 2018)
We worship together as a congregation every Saturday morning. Visitors are always welcome!
Quite often we hear about natural disasters, crime, terrorism and many other depressing news that affects our society and the simple and safe way of living we once took for granted is fading away. All of that coupled with many other social and economical issues, make us feel uncomfortable and apprehensive about the future.
Among all these depressing news there is hope and a better outlook for Jesus has given us a wonderful promise that gives us comfort and confidence to walk safe into the future. He says in John 14: 1-3;
1 “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. 2 My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.
On the other hand we have been plunged into a period of unprecedented social, cultural, political, economic and technological changes that could potentially increase our levels of anxiety to the extent to affect the mental and physical health and therefore put our social and family relationships at risk.
Moved by our love for Jesus and the desire to be a part of and to help to our local community, the Aitkenvale Seventh-day Adventist Church offers you support, friendship and spiritual nurture. We would love to meet you and share with you.
Looking forward to meeting you
